A Twenty-Six Year Old Lady with Big Dreams

Hera Helené is an author, singer, and songwriter from Balayan, Batangas, born on September 21, 1999. Passionate about reaching and encouraging others, Hera uses music, writing, speaking, and various art forms to make an impact.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Latin honors from De La Salle Lipa. She was a Department of Science and Technology – JLSS Scholar, a Mandanas Scholar, and an Eileen Ermita Scholar.
Her creative journey led her to become a mentee of the ABS-CBN Books Project Foreword Program under best-selling author Ardy Roberto. She later self-published her first book, Anong Nangyari Sa Akin, under 8Letters Bookstore and Publishing. It became the best-selling title from 8Letters at the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) in 2025. The book is now available in Fully Booked, Shopee, Lazada, and Gumroad, and will soon be distributed through Book Sale, REKO, and Amazon KDP.
She began singing and joining contests at age three and a half. In 2011, she won 3rd place in the Vilma Santos-Recto Singing Contest, earning a ₱1-million project grant for her barangay’s daycare school and a ₱50,000 cash prize. She continues to sing at church and family gatherings, and special events, has music on digital streaming platforms (Spotify, iTunes, etc.), and is preparing to release original albums and EPs. She is best known for her work in this field.
With various skills and experiences, she worked as an SAP Security Analyst at Accenture, served as a Special Science Teacher I at Balayan Senior High School, and now works as a freelancer in web design and programming, as well as an admin and operations coordinator for international clients.
She is the Vice Chairman of her central church’s National Youth Council (Youth Presidium) and a local church leader. She is also a Mental Health, Psychological, and Suicide First Aider, with certifications in Depression and Suicide Counseling and Ministering through Counseling (Basic and Advanced). She is currently in training to become a Certified Total Wellness Coach.
When not writing or singing, Hera enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, and musical theater, a love she has had since high school.
